This week a young man in Detroit named Joshua Smith raised over $3,000 with a lemonade stand to help keep a local park near his house clean. At one point the Mayor of Detroit actually advised Smith to save the money for his college tuition. 9 year old Smith confidently said that, no, this money was raised for his community and would go to his community.
